Okay, so since I live in Stockholm I thought I'd share one of my
most favorite spots in this magnificent city. It's not really
somewhere tourists usually get to go, but I'd really recommend that
you spend a few hours on Fjäderholmerna if you're ever in town.
They are a part of the Stockholm Archipelago and a visit is a great
way to explore the magic of the Archipelago which consist of more
than 24.000 little islands, small red Swedish houses, beautiful
nature, boats and sun. It's truly a magnificent place!
You can take the boat from central Stockholm (they depart from
Nybrokajen) every 30 minutes and a return ticket is 100SEK (about
15€) - the trip taskes about 30 minutes each way, so it's really
not too far away. Once there you should enjoy some traditional
Swedish food (I recommend the toast with Skagenröra - it's
extremely good!) and take a walk around the island - finish your
visit off with a big ol' icecream and enjoy it on the boat
back.
