Nowadays, it has been called many names: boho chic, bobo (aka bohemian bourgeois), neo-hippie.  For me, this fashion embraces the summertime- the way one can look casual and effortless, yet sexy and fashionable.  Boho chic experienced a revival a few years ago, with the help of fashionistas, like Kate Moss, Sienna Miller and Nicole Richie, in their flowy dresses and cool gypsy accessories.  It was as if someone turned on the light- yes, we can look sexy in the deep heat of summer or knee-deep in mud at a festival!

Inspiration was drawn from 1960's fashion, like designer, Ossie Clark and style icon, Talitha Getty.  Designer Ossie Clark and his wife, textile designer, Celia Birtwell, created romantic flowing dresses in printed chiffon, which personified the Swingin' Sixties.  Talitha Getty was an actress married to the heir of the Getty oil fortune, bohemian by nature but bourgeois in lifestyle.  Both Ossie Clark and Talitha Getty represented the excesses of the sixties, but will forever be remembered of their contributions to fashion.
